After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

One situation that comes to mind when I reflect about a high concentration situation was my drivers test. I wanted to take my test in my car that I got on my 16th birthday but, my car has been in and out of the shop since then. When it finally came back out of the shop, the battery had died again. Finally I just decided to take the test in my step dads car. I had barely driven his car before and had not driven in months. I had a chance to practice one time before my mom and I walked into the place to take my test. I was super nervous. First this being a new car, and I always blank when put in high pressure situations. I ended up passing my test with a 100.

Today in class we annotated a poem and worked on a writable

I learned about a boy who cut his hand off with a saw.
