In your response, explain what film you are referring to, What stereotypes were present in the film, and how those stereotypes shaped your understanding of that group at the time

 One film that I watched that had stereotypes was legally blonde. In the movie, the main character is a young blond girl who everyone, including her boyfriend, thinks is just another dumb blonde. He ends up breaking up with her because he thinks she is a dumb blonde. She then decides to go to law school and prove him wrong. When I first watched this film, her standing up to the sterotypical dumb blonde was very encouraging for me. She showed me that you can do whatever you want in life. Your hair color doesn't define what you can and can't do.
