Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

One moment in my life that was a major turning point was when I realized my best friend wasn't a good person and didn't have good interests in mind for me. It was sophomore year when we became friends but I didn't realize the truth until the beginning of Junior year.  I realized that she was lying to me about major life changing things in her life. I also realized that she only talked to me when she needed something. If I tried to talk about me or something that didn't revolve around her she would interrupt and change the conversation back to her. When the beginning of Junior year started, I pulled away from everyone because of some personal family issues, mainly her. She would call me everyday for hours and talk about the same thing every day. I had too much to deal with so I pulled away. When I did, I realized how toxic she was being. After I realized this, I made the decision that I should stay away from her for good, so that is what I have done.

Today we worked on writing a Rhetorical analysis

I learned about writing formats and how to use them
