Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 Something that I took a hiatus from was horseback riding. I was forced to take a break from it because of my dad. He was the one who was paying for it and taking me. Then he stopped due to some personal reasons. It impacted me a lot because horseback riding was my life. It was what kept me happy and sane so one random day when I found out through a old family friend, not even my dad that I couldn't ride anymore, it broke my heart. I am able to come out sometimes but I have to pay for it myself. My dad promised me that I would be able to ride again soon but he lied. I don't think I will ever be able to go out on a normal regular schedule ever again.

 An adventure I would like to go on is a trip throughout Europe. I have always wanted to visit there since I was a little girl. I could never decide on where I wanted to go the most so, what I would do is travel to them all. I would take a flight there to Europe, and slowly work my way through each country. I would love to visit Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Rome, and Greece. If I do this, then I would be able to visit them all.  Today in class, we finished presenting our origin myth posters. We then, started working on analyzing Emily Dickerson's poems.  I learned about what a great poet Emily was.

 One thing I have always been curious about is why we humans have never fully explored the ocean. Everyone is willing and eager to go and explore space but what about our own planet. Everyone wants us to keep pushing to put the first man on Mars but I believe that we should explore our own planet first before venturing out farther.
