 One word from today's lesson that I have heard outside of the classroom was metamorphosis. It was in the show How To Train Your Dragon: Race To The Edge, which I used to watch a lot as a kid. In the show, the character gets bit by something and believes that he is going to turn into a dragon. He keeps going around saying the metamorphosis was happening and he wasn't going to stay man for long. That episode helped me understand the word a lot. 

Today in class we worked on our vocabulary assignment.

I learned many new words.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on

 An adventure I would like to go on is a trip throughout Europe. I have always wanted to visit there since I was a little girl. I could never decide on where I wanted to go the most so, what I would do is travel to them all. I would take a flight there to Europe, and slowly work my way through each country. I would love to visit Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Rome, and Greece. If I do this, then I would be able to visit them all.  Today in class, we finished presenting our origin myth posters. We then, started working on analyzing Emily Dickerson's poems.  I learned about what a great poet Emily was.

 One thing I have always been curious about is why we humans have never fully explored the ocean. Everyone is willing and eager to go and explore space but what about our own planet. Everyone wants us to keep pushing to put the first man on Mars but I believe that we should explore our own planet first before venturing out farther.
