Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

 The other day, I heard about how a person at our school had gotten in a fight with someone that was so bad they had to go to the hospital. My boyfriend saw the guy on the floor after the fight. He said that he was covered in blood, and bleeding out. Apparently, the kid he was fighting had scissors or something, and hit the guy with them. It is really crazy to me that two kids could do that to each other, at our own school.

 An adventure I would like to go on is a trip throughout Europe. I have always wanted to visit there since I was a little girl. I could never decide on where I wanted to go the most so, what I would do is travel to them all. I would take a flight there to Europe, and slowly work my way through each country. I would love to visit Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Rome, and Greece. If I do this, then I would be able to visit them all.  Today in class, we finished presenting our origin myth posters. We then, started working on analyzing Emily Dickerson's poems.  I learned about what a great poet Emily was.

 One thing I have always been curious about is why we humans have never fully explored the ocean. Everyone is willing and eager to go and explore space but what about our own planet. Everyone wants us to keep pushing to put the first man on Mars but I believe that we should explore our own planet first before venturing out farther.
